Rob brings over two decades of experience in interior architectural design and project management, with a particular focus on sustainability. As the Corporate Director of Interiors at SmithGroupJJR, Rob has contributed to more than two dozen LEED projects, guiding several of them through the certification process, including the 440,000 square feet Exelon Headquarters – one of the largest LEED-CI Platinum in the world. His leadership and commitment to sustainable design landed him a two-year position as Vice President on the International Board of Directors for the International Interior Design Association. "I like that architecture is an art form that people experience by inhabiting it," Rob notes. "The way people use and engage a space has a lot to do with its success." Rob particularly enjoys spending time with clients, bringing value by "figuring out what they need versus what they think they want." His kids unknowingly contribute to the creative process. "They see things so differently than adults," he remarks. "It's good to step back and look at the world fresh every once and a while."
