Sara brings the skills of an artist and an engineer to the design of her projects. Her electrical engineering expertise ensures that power systems are precisely designed and properly constructed in the field; her background in lighting design allows her to apply the highest aesthetic standards. Sara also incorporates sustainability into every project, from daylighting strategies to the design of photovoltaic systems for on-site power generation. "I remember agonizing over how to choose between architecture and engineering as my career path," she recalls. "I've found a perfect fit for my talents and interests, able to impact both the art and the science of building design." While exceptional buildings are the end result, "people and relationships really form the basis for what we do," Sara says of the firm's work. "Building a strong relationship with each client I work with not only makes the project more enjoyable, but it is also an essential part of ensuring a project's success."
