Sharing “what architecture can be” is a skill and service Bill eagerly provides as a frequent speaker at area high schools. “It’s very rewarding to introduce the breadth of this profession and help younger generations find their potential path,” he explains. The son of a nurse, Bill found his architecture path in the health sciences and discovered a particular passion for the boundless creativity in designing simulation facilities. Each is highly technical and detailed, he explains, with few limitations to what can be created for clients. “From simulated hospital rooms to virtual reality, they all provide safe learning environments for future generations of health sciences professionals,” he notes. Bill also is drawn to the creativity and detail of painting architectural models. Even on his lunch break, “You might find me underneath my painting lamp with a brush and model in hand,” he remarks. “It allows me new vigor and brain space to start the afternoon off right.”
